Papaya Leaves

I really wanted to share this with you all.

Body pain, relaxant and Carpal Tunnel Syndrom
I decided to make tea out of papaya leaves by boiling them and to that, also added fenugreek - halba(and a little later, pandan leaves). This was actually supposed to help reduce weight...however, I may have found a cure for carpal tunnel syndrom. At least, I have cured MY Carpal Tunnel Syndrom.

Wash one or two papaya leaves and about 1/2 tsp fenugreek and bring to boil in a pot. Let simmer for about 10 minutes and leave to cool. Drink it twice a day.

Within two weeks, I could feel the numbness and tingling in my affected hand lessen. By the third week, there was more feeling in the middle finger and later index finger. by the 6th week, my thumb was feeling a whole lot more.

Two months later, its all but gone...Alhamdulillah..who knew...

I've stopped drinking that though because it made me so relaxed that I always ended up sleeping at odd hours of the day.

The pain in my feet after exercising or being on my feet so much disappeared too about the same time.

Gastric

I had severe gastic problems some years back. After months of disturbed sleep and food issues and medication that did not help, Mak casually told me that I should try drinking tea made from papaya leaves.

That was actually my first affair with the papaya leaves. They are so bitter you see.

Like before, clean one or two papaya leaves and boil them in a pot of water. Leave to simmer until the water is reduced to about 1/2. You can store the tea in the fridge. Drink a glass first thing in the morning half an hour before consuming anything else. Before going to bed, have another glass. You have to stay away from spicy and gassy food like cabbages or peanuts and whatever triggers off your gastric. Do this for 7 days. In fact after about 3 -4 days you will notice a significant decrease in your torture. I slept well for the first time after usually waking up around three to roll about because of tummy upset.

I don't have to be so careful about my diet now

as my stomach has become quite 'stable'. Occasionally, I feel some uneasiness but several glasses of the bitter potion solves the problem...
